Hammond PJU14126L 14x12x6 Solid Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU14126L is a 14.05 x 12.27 x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a solid cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. With an optional 12.75 x 10.88 in inner panel, it offers room for control components, terminal wiring or instrumentation in harsh locations.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and for sites where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive. This part is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

Box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering, and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall that is easily punched, cut or drilled. Two lockable stainless steel snap latches with padlocking provision secure the cover, which hinges on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and seals on a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws; the drawing shows 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes on 14.70 in (373.44 mm) vertical centers and 15.42 in (391.67 mm) overall height. It operates from 130°C to -40°C, has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
