PJU14126CCF is the flange-mount, clear-cover version of the 14 x 12 x 6 in PJU lift-off junction box. Two polycarbonate flanges glued to the box provide wall mounting, and the transparent polycarbonate cover lets technicians check gauges, lamps or terminal markings without opening the enclosure. Typical duties include instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures.
The enclosure body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. It is easily punched, cut or drilled. Four stainless steel captive cover screws thread into #10-32 brass inserts and are held by retaining O-rings, while a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the cover.
Dimensions are 14.05 in H x 12.27 in W x 6.13 in D (357 x 312 x 156 mm) and the shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). An optional 14R1311 inner panel (12.75 x 10.88 in, 324 x 276 mm) mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws; panels come in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.
The flanges attach with stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 with IEC 60529 IP66. The box operates from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), withstands an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
