Hammond PJU12106CCHF 12x10x6 Hinged Clear Cover Fiberglass Box, Flange Mount

PJU12106CCHF is a 12 x 10 x 6 in Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover on a continuous hinge and two glued polycarbonate flanges for surface mounting. It suits instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures that need visible contents in wet, hose-down, hot or highly corrosive locations.

The body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering, and can be easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is secured by two stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings. A captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket gives a positive seal.

Dimensions are 12.05 in H x 10.27 in W x 6.13 in D (306 x 261 x 156 mm), and the listed shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The optional 14R1109 inner panel (10.75 x 8.88 in, 273 x 226 mm) mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws and is offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.

The flanges fasten with stainless steel screws in brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. The PJU12106CCHF is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and is rated IEC 60529 IP66. It operates from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
