Hammond PJHMIPROP108 10x8 Stainless Steel HMI Cover Prop Arm

The PJHMIPROP108 is the stainless steel prop arm for the 10x8 PJHMI Series HMI hinged covers (PJHMI108...). With the cover mounted so its hinge runs along the top edge, the arm unfolds and supports the open cover so both hands are free for work on the HMI or instrument inside.

It measures 1 in x 10.9 in x 1 in (25 mm x 277 mm x 25 mm); the drawing's size table lists Dimension A as 10.9 for the AMHMIPROP108 size, the same as the 8x8 arm. It ships at 1 lb (0.45 kg).

The kit is easily field installable and can be mounted on the right or left side of the cover. Its parts list is one cap, one "S" leg, one "L" leg, one bracket, one #10-32 x 1/2 flat head screw, one #10-32 x 1/2 pan head screw, two #10-32 locknuts and one #4-40 x 1/4 screw.

To install, assemble the legs and bracket, mount the prop kit to the small frame hole, and screw the assembly into the cover with a #10-32 x 1/2" screw torqued to 25-30 in-lbs. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, a straight screwdriver or similar tools, and a 3/8" open end wrench.

The PJHMIPROP108 is RoHS and REACH compliant (UNSPSC 39121301, UPC 623980273822). Order it for PJHMI108 covers; other cover sizes have their own prop arm.
