The PJHMIPROP1614 is a stainless steel prop arm for the 16x14 PJHMI Series HMI hinged cover (PJHMI1614). When the cover is mounted with its hinge along the top edge, the arm unfolds to hold it open and leave both hands free for work on the HMI or electronics behind it.
At 1 in x 18.8 in x 1 in (25 mm x 478 mm x 25 mm), it corresponds to Dimension A of 18.8 for the AMHMIPROP164 size on the drawing. Shipping weight is 1 lb (0.45 kg).
The kit is easily field installable and can be fitted to the right or left side of the cover. It contains a cap, an "S" leg, an "L" leg, a bracket, a #10-32 x 1/2 flat head screw, a #10-32 x 1/2 pan head screw, two #10-32 locknuts and a #4-40 x 1/4 screw.
- Tools: Phillips screwdriver, straight screwdriver or similar tools, 3/8" open end wrench.
- Mount the prop kit to the small frame hole.
- Attach to the cover with a #10-32 x 1/2" screw at 25-30 in-lbs.
The PJHMIPROP1614 is RoHS and REACH compliant, with UNSPSC 39121301 and UPC 623980273853. Select it for PJHMI1614 covers only; other sizes have their own prop arm.
