Hammond PJ944P223 3-Hole 22mm Fiberglass Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ944P223 is a three-hole pushbutton enclosure for 22.5mm devices, the 22mm counterpart to PJ944P3 in the PJPB Series. It gives panel builders a three-operator fiberglass polyester station for equipment that may be hosed down or be very wet, and for applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

Its box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish that is easily punched, cut, or drilled. Captive stainless steel cover screws thread into four #10-32 brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant gasket provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

Enclosure dimensions are 8.99 in H x 3.93 in W x 3.88 in D (228 mm x 100 mm x 99 mm), with the three 22mm holes on 2.25 in (57.15 mm) centres per the drawing. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). It mounts through rear holes on the enclosure with #8 x 1 inch screws (not included), and accepts the optional PJP94 aluminum inner panel (6.25 in x 3.13 in, natural finish).

The series carries UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Rated operating temperatures are 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), with an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb). The PJ944P223 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
