Hammond PJ744P222 2-Hole 22mm Fiberglass Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ744P222 is a two-hole pushbutton enclosure for 22.5mm devices in the PJPB Series. Molded from gray fiberglass polyester, it gives OEMs and plant electricians a compact two-operator station with outstanding insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, easily punched, cut, or drilled. Four captive stainless steel cover screws thread into #10-32 brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant gasket gives a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering, and the series is intended for applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

Install it through the rear mounting holes with #8 x 1 inch screws (not included). The 30.5mm version of this two-hole enclosure is PJ744P2.

Series ratings are UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, with compliance to NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Operating temperatures run from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), the impact index is 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and the PJ744P222 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
