Hammond PJ744P1 1-Hole 30.5mm Fiberglass Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ744P1 is a single-hole pushbutton enclosure from the PJPB Series, molded in fiberglass polyester and punched for one 30.5mm device. It suits controls engineers and electricians who need a one-button station where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, or in applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in a gray finish, and the material is easily punched, cut, or drilled if you need to modify it. The cover is fastened with four captive stainless steel #10-32 screws in threaded brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant gasket provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

The enclosure measures 6.74 in H x 3.93 in W x 3.88 in D (171 mm x 100 mm x 99 mm) and has a shipping weight of 1.55 lbs (0.70 kg). It mounts through rear holes on the enclosure using #8 x 1 inch screws (not included). An optional natural-finish aluminum inner panel, PJP74, measures 4.00 in x 3.13 in. If your devices are 22.5mm, the equivalent one-hole part is PJ744P221.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. It is rated for operating temperatures from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
