Hammond PJ744P2 2-Hole 30.5mm Fiberglass Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ744P2 is a two-hole fiberglass polyester pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm devices, part of the PJPB Series. A typical pairing is a start/stop station: two operators in one compact, non-metallic housing that provides outstanding insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.

Box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish, easily punched, cut, or drilled. Four #10-32 threaded brass inserts receive captive stainless steel cover screws, and a captive oil resistant gasket provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering, and the series is suited to applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

Enclosure size is 6.74 in H x 3.93 in W x 3.88 in D (171 mm x 100 mm x 99 mm); the drawing shows the two holes on 2.25 in (57.15 mm) centres. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg). Mount it through the rear holes with #8 x 1 inch screws (not included). The optional PJP74 aluminum inner panel (4.00 in x 3.13 in, natural finish) fits this size, and the 22.5mm two-hole equivalent is PJ744P222.

Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complying with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Operating temperature range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) with an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb). RoHS and REACH compliant.
