Hammond PJ664H 6x6x4 Hinged Cover Fiberglass Type 4X Box

The PJ664H is a compact Type 4X polyester junction box, 6.10 in H x 6.10 in W x 4.13 in D (155 x 155 x 105 mm), fitted with a hinged cover secured by screws. It suits instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, especially where equipment may be hosed down, be very wet, or face high temperatures and highly corrosive environments.

The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, easily punched, cut or drilled for fittings, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. The cover swings on a stainless steel hinge, so it stays attached during service, and closes with two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts. A captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.

Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to brass inserts on the rear; the drawing shows 7.95 in (201.93 mm) overall height with feet. The optional 14R0505 inner panel (4.88 x 4.88 in, 124 x 124 mm) or a terminal kit mounts on #10-32 threaded brass inserts, with hardware included. The PJ664H ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg).

Ratings include UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 per CSA 22.2 No. 94, NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66. Operating temperature is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
