Hammond PJ302410RTW 30x24x10 Type 4X Fiberglass Enclosure, Window Lid

The PJ302410RTW is a 30 x 24 x 10.13 in (762 x 610 x 257 mm) Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure whose raised lid carries a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. The drawing shows a window opening of 23.00 x 17.00 in (584.20 x 431.80 mm), large enough to keep a full panel of meters, displays or indicator lights in view with the door closed.

Intended uses listed for the PJ Series include instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, especially where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or in highly corrosive conditions. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be punched, cut or drilled. Wall thickness is 0.14 in (3.56 mm). Four 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches with padlock provision seal the cover on a formed-in-place polyurethane gasket, with the door carried on a stainless steel hinge.

Six 3/8"-16 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 18P2721 inner panel, 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm); the drawing lists 0.105 in galvannealed white steel and 0.250 in fiberglass back panels. Four 316 stainless steel feet (larger foot size) attach to rear 3/8"-16 brass inserts through 0.56 in (14.30 mm) holes. Operating range is 130°C to -40°C, impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), shipping weight 32 lbs (14.51 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant. The solid-lid version is PJ302410RT.
