The PJ16148RTW is a 16.27 x 14.40 x 8.13 in (413 x 366 x 207 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure whose raised cover includes a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. It gives larger control housings and instrument enclosures a way to show displays and indicators while staying sealed against hose-down, heavy moisture, high temperatures and corrosive atmospheres.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering, and are easily punched, cut or drilled. Per the drawing, two stainless steel lockable twist latches secure the window cover, which hangs on a stainless steel hinge and seals on a closed cell neoprene gasket. The door fasteners include a provision for padlocking.
