The PJ14126RHW is a 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm) Type 4X enclosure with a raised hinged cover that carries a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. It lets operators see instruments, meters or indicators inside while the door stays sealed, and suits instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings and terminal wiring.
Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors to resist outdoor weathering. The enclosure is easily punched, cut or drilled, has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, and is rated from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
The window door is supported on a continuous stainless steel hinge and secured with two stainless steel captive screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts; the fasteners include a padlocking provision. A closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.
It is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, and RoHS and REACH compliant. Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts, and the PJ14126RHW accepts the optional 14R1311 inner panel measuring 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm). Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
