The PJ12106RW is a Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure measuring 12.13 in H x 10.26 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 261 x 156 mm), supplied with a raised lift-off cover that includes a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. It is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring where contents need to stay visible.
Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, finished in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. The 0.14 in (3.55 mm) wall is easily punched, cut or drilled, carries a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index and handles 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
Four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts, compressing a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket. The enclosure is listed UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Mounting uses four 316 stainless steel feet on rear brass inserts, with hardware included. The optional 14R1109 inner panel (10.75 x 8.88 in / 273 x 226 mm) mounts on internal brass inserts and is available in white powder coated steel, aluminum or fiberglass. Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).
