The PJ12106RH is a 12.13 in H x 10.26 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 261 x 156 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure with a raised solid cover that swings on a continuous 316 stainless steel hinge. It suits instrument housings, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic controls, junction boxes and terminal wiring where the door will be opened regularly and should stay attached.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor service. The 0.14 in (3.55 mm) walls are easily punched, cut or drilled, the material has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and the rated operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
On the latch side, two 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts, and the door fasteners include a provision for padlocking. A captive, oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket gives a positive seal for wet, hose-down and corrosive locations.
The PJ12106RH is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Four 316 stainless steel feet mount to brass inserts on the back with hardware supplied. The optional 14R1109 inner panel (10.75 x 8.88 in) installs on internal brass inserts. Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).
