The PJ12106RHW pairs a 12.13 in H x 10.26 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 261 x 156 mm) fiberglass polyester box with a raised, hinged cover fitted with a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. It lets technicians read meters, indicators or instruments without opening the enclosure, making it a fit for instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring boxes.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. Walls are 0.14 in (3.55 mm) thick and can be punched, cut or drilled. The material is rated for an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) and operating temperatures from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
The door rides on a continuous 316 stainless steel hinge and closes with two 316 stainless steel captive screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts; the fasteners include a padlocking provision. A captive, oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket seals the opening for hose-down, very wet and corrosive environments.
Ratings include UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94) and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Four 316 stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts, and the interior accepts the optional 14R1109 inner panel measuring 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm). Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).
