Hammond PJ12106H 12x10x6 Hinged Cover Fiberglass Type 4X Box

The PJ12106H is a Type 4X polyester junction box with a hinged screw cover, measuring 12.13 in H x 10.26 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 261 x 156 mm). It is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and suits applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments as well as equipment that may be hosed down.

Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, in gray, with a drawn wall thickness of 0.14 in (3.55 mm). It is easily punched, cut or drilled, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering. The cover pivots on a 316 stainless steel hinge and is secured by two 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts. A captive, oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket provides a positive seal.

Four 316 stainless steel feet mount to rear brass inserts with 316 stainless steel screws, giving 13.82 in (351.13 mm) overall height on the drawing. The optional 14R1109 inner panel, 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm), or a terminal kit mounts on internal #10-32 threaded brass inserts, and hardware is included. Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).

The PJ12106H is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and operates between 130°C and -40°C (266°F to -40°F). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
