Hammond PJ1086RLW 10x8x6 In Type 4X Window Cover Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ1086RLW is a 6 in deep, 10 x 8 PJ series junction box with a raised cover that carries a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. The enclosure measures 10.13 x 8.26 x 6.13 in (257 x 210 x 156 mm), leaving room for deeper devices while keeping displays, indicators or gauges visible from outside.

It is intended for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring and hydraulic or pneumatic control housings where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, and for high-temperature or highly corrosive settings. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be punched, cut or drilled.

• One stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, with padlock provision
• Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws for the optional 14R0907 inner panel (8.75 x 6.88 in)

The PJ1086RLW is covered by the series UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) ratings and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It works from 130°C to -40°C, has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships at 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
