Hammond PHW30247 30x24x7 Fiberglass Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The PHW30247 is a 30 x 24 x 7 in nominal Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure, the shallowest of the 30 x 24 sizes in the PHW Series. It gives a wide front area in a comparatively slim profile for electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls installed indoors or outdoors.

The enclosure is compression molded from fiberglass reinforced polyester and finished in light gray, for applications where a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure is needed to protect against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water. A continuous hinge carries the door, which is closed with stainless steel butterfly type twist latches. A memory retaining continuous door gasket, stainless steel hardware and a padlocking provision are standard.

The PHW30247 measures 33.41 in H x 26.32 in W x 8.81 in D (849 x 669 x 224 mm) overall and ships at 45 lbs (20.41 kg). Molded in panel mounting inserts accept the optional 18P2721 inner panel, which measures 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm).

Integral mounting feet are provided for mounting to a wall or structure. The series is listed UL 508A Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, certified CSA Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. The PHW30247 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
