Hammond PHW30208 30x20x8 Fiberglass Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The PHW30208 is a tall, 30 x 20 x 8 in nominal Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure from the PHW Series. It is designed for electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls indoors and outdoors, in places that call for a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure protecting against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water.

Its compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester body has a light gray finish. The door is ported with a continuous hinge and closes with stainless steel butterfly type twist latch fasteners. Stainless steel hardware, a padlocking provision and a memory retaining continuous door gasket are all standard.

The PHW30208 measures 32.86 in H x 20.99 in W x 9.89 in D (835 x 533 x 251 mm) overall and has a shipping weight of 36 lbs (16.33 kg). Its height accommodates the optional 18P2717 inner panel at 27.00 x 17.00 in (686 x 432 mm), which mounts on molded in panel mounting inserts.

Integral mounting feet are molded into the enclosure for wall mounting. Ratings for the series include UL 508A Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, CSA Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and compliance with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. The PHW30208 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
