The PHW302410 is a Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure with a 30 x 24 x 10 in nominal size, the middle depth of the three 30 x 24 models in the PHW Series. It is built for electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls in indoor and outdoor installations that require a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure.
Compression molded from fiberglass reinforced polyester with a light gray finish, it protects against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water. The door swings on a continuous hinge and is fastened with stainless steel butterfly type twist latches. A memory retaining continuous door gasket is standard, hardware is stainless steel, and a padlocking provision is included.
The PHW302410 measures 33.41 in H x 26.32 in W x 11.95 in D (849 x 669 x 304 mm) overall and ships at 50 lbs (22.68 kg). The optional 18P2721 inner panel, 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm), attaches to molded in panel mounting inserts.
Integral mounting feet allow the enclosure to be mounted directly to a wall. The PHW Series is listed UL 508A 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and complies with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. The PHW302410 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
