Hammond PHW302412 30x24x12 Deep Fiberglass Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The PHW302412 is a 30 x 24 x 12 in nominal Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure, the deepest of the 30 x 24 sizes in the PHW Series. It houses electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls indoors and outdoors where a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure is required.

The enclosure body is compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester finished in light gray. It is designed to protect contents against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water. The door is ported with a continuous hinge and closed by stainless steel butterfly type twist latch fasteners over a memory retaining continuous gasket. Hardware is stainless steel and a padlocking provision is standard.

At 33.41 in H x 26.32 in W x 13.79 in D (849 x 669 x 350 mm) overall, the PHW302412 offers nearly two inches more depth than the PHW302410. Shipping weight is 54 lbs (24.49 kg). The optional 18P2721 inner panel, 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm), mounts to molded in panel mounting inserts.

Integral mounting feet are molded in for wall installation. The PHW Series is listed UL 508A 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and complies with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. This part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
