Hammond PHW242410 24x24x10 Fiberglass Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The PHW242410 is a Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure with a near-square 24 x 24 x 10 in nominal size. It is designed to accommodate electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls in indoor and outdoor settings where a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure is needed against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water.

The body is compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester finished in light gray. The door is ported with a continuous hinge and secured with stainless steel butterfly type twist latch fasteners, and a memory retaining continuous door gasket is standard. All hardware is stainless steel and there is a provision for padlocking.

The PHW242410 has overall dimensions of 27 in H x 25.25 in W x 11.9 in D (686 x 641 x 302 mm) and a shipping weight of 42 lbs (19.05 kg). Its optional 18P2121 inner panel is square at 21.00 x 21.00 in (533 x 533 mm) and fastens to molded in panel mounting inserts.

Integral mounting feet allow direct wall mounting. PHW Series ratings are UL 508A 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, with compliance to NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. The PHW242410 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
