Hammond PCJ1086CCL 10x8x6 Deep Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box with Feet

The PCJ1086CCL is the deepest 10 x 8 in clear-cover model in the metal-latch PCJ Series: a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a nominal 10 x 8 x 6 in (254 x 203 x 152 mm) size, a hinged clear cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. The 5.98 in (152 mm) depth leaves room for taller components, and the see-through lid keeps them visible. The series is designed to insulate and protect controls and components indoors and outdoors, including pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic with enhanced UV inhibitors and is easily punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. It swings on a 316 stainless steel hinge pin and closes with a 316 stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, with padlocking provision. A FIP polyurethane gasket seals the cover and the drawing gives a 0.16 in (3.96 mm) wall thickness.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in H x 8.15 in W x 5.98 in D (252 x 207 x 152 mm). The optional PCJR0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; back panels are shown in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.188 in PVC.

Four polycarbonate mounting feet are fixed with #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel screws, with four 0.32 in (8.17 mm) holes. The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94 and f1 per UL746C, and RoHS and REACH compliant. The PCJ1086CCL ships at 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
