Hammond PCJ1084CCL 10x8x4 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box with Feet

The PCJ1084CCL is a 10 x 8 x 4 in (254 x 203 x 102 mm) Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a hinged clear cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. The clear lid lets technicians read indicators and check wiring at a glance, and as part of the metal-latch PCJ Series the box is designed to insulate and protect controls and components in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The light gray body is injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic with enhanced UV inhibitors and is easily punched, cut or drilled; the cover is clear polycarbonate. The cover pivots on a stainless steel hinge pin and closes with a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, with a padlocking provision. The drawing specifies a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in H x 8.15 in W x 3.98 in D (252 x 207 x 101 mm). The optional PCJR0907 inner panel, 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), mounts to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; 0.100 in aluminum and 0.075 in white steel back panels are shown.

Four polycarbonate feet are secured with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws, with four 0.32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes. Series ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, V-0 per UL 94 and f1 per UL746C, with RoHS and REACH compliance. The PCJ1084CCL ships at 3.2 lbs (1.45 kg).
