Hammond PBPS19017BK 10U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Matte Black

The PBPS19017BK is a 10U solid steel rack blanking panel from the Hammond PBPS Series, built to cover unused rack space in standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, data center operators, telecom installers and AV integrators who need to close open rack units so conditioned air is forced through equipment rather than recirculating around it.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 Matte Black, giving a durable, uniform appearance across a rack lineup. The solid panel face blocks airflow gaps to support front-to-rear cooling, while the formed flanges add rigidity across the full 10U span. Companion parts in the series are offered in ANSI61 Dark Gray, RAL7035 Light Gray and RAL9003 Matte White if a different rack colour is required.

This panel occupies 10 rack units with a panel height of 17.50 in (445 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width. The drawing shows a panel body of 18.32 in (465 mm) by 17.47 in (444 mm) with 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Mounting uses 8 slots of 0.250 x 0.375 in, providing 8 mounting points for secure attachment over the panel's height. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware separately to match your rail type.

PBPS19017BK ships at 6.75 lbs (3.06 kg) and is manufactured in Canada within an ISO 9001 certified facility.
