Hammond PBPS19014BK 8U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Black

The PBPS19014BK is an 8U flat steel rack panel from the PBPS Series, used to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for data center, telecom and network teams who need to close open rack units so cooling air follows the intended front-to-rear path instead of recirculating around installed equipment.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 Matte Black. The solid panel design blocks airflow gaps across the full opening, and the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant for environmental and durability requirements. The same panel height is also offered in ANSI61 Dark Gray, RAL7035 Light Gray and RAL9003 Matte White.

PBPS19014BK measures 14.00 in (356 mm) high, covering 8 rack units, with a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall mounting width and a panel body of 18.32 in (465 mm) by 13.97 in (355 mm). It has 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so it can be secured along both sides of the rack rails. Shipping weight is 5.8 lbs (2.63 kg). Mounting hardware is not included.
