Hammond PBPS19010GY2 6U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19010GY2 is a 6U flat steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in equipment racks. It is intended for IT and data center teams, telecom and network installers, and AV or facilities staff who need to block open rack units so conditioned air is directed through equipment rather than around it. The solid panel design blocks airflow gaps and supports proper front-to-rear cooling, helping prevent hot and cold air from recirculating.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) finished in a smooth powder coat in ANSI61 dark gray. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility. The part is also REACH compliant and USMCA compliant, with a country of origin of Canada.

This 6U size measures 10.50 in (267 mm) panel height with an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) to fit standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. The drawing shows an overall panel height of 10.47 in (266 mm) and a 18.32 in (465 mm) dimension across the panel face, with 1.48 in (38 mm) mounting flanges and 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

Mounting uses 8 points, with eight 0.250 x 0.375 in slots that align with standard rack rail hole patterns. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws and cage nuts to suit your rails. PBPS19010GY2 is one of four colour options in this size, alongside matte black, light gray and matte white versions of the same 6U panel.
