Hammond PBPS19005GY2 3U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Dark Gray

The PBPS19005GY2 is a 3U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in ANSI61 dark gray, designed to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV integrators and facilities staff who need to close open rack units so cooling air follows the intended front-to-rear path instead of recirculating through empty spaces.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish for a clean, uniform appearance across a rack front. The panel is flat and solid, so it fully blocks airflow gaps rather than venting them, which supports thermal management strategies in hot aisle / cold aisle layouts and high-density cabinets. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

Dimensions match standard rack geometry: 3 rack units of coverage, 5.25 in (133 mm) panel height and 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width, with the drawing showing a 5.22 in (133 mm) panel face and an 18.32 in (465 mm) slot span. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg).
