Hammond PBPS19005WH 3U Solid Steel Blanking Panel, Matte White

PBPS19005WH is a 3U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in matte white (RAL9003), designed to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is a practical choice for data center technicians, network and telecom installers, AV integrators and facilities teams who need to close open rack units for airflow management and a tidy, finished front elevation.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) and carries a smooth powder coat finish that provides a clean, professional appearance. The solid, flat face blocks airflow gaps so front-to-rear cooling paths stay intact, helping prevent hot and cold air from recirculating through empty rack openings. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant as well as TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

Dimensionally, PBPS19005WH occupies 3 rack units with a panel height of 5.25 in (133 mm) nominal, 5.22 in (133 mm) overall on the drawing, and a 19.00 in (483 mm) width for standard rack rails. Four 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots give 4 mounting points, and corners are radiused .12 in (3 mm). Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg).

Installation is straightforward: align the slots with the rack rail hole pattern and secure the panel with rack screws or cage nut hardware. Note that mounting hardware is not included with PBPS19005WH, so order rack mounting hardware separately if required. The same 3U size is also offered in matte black, dark gray (ANSI61) and light gray (RAL7035) if a different rack colour match is needed.
