Hammond PBPA19015UNF 9U Unfinished Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel

The PBPA19015UNF is a 9U flat aluminum rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers who need to cover large openings, tidy the front of a rack and keep supply and return air from mixing. The unfinished (UNF) version ships without a powder coat finish, making it a practical choice where the panel will be painted, silk-screened, machined or otherwise customized after purchase.

Construction is 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, which delivers corrosion resistance and a low panel weight compared with steel blanking panels of the same height. Shipping weight for this part is 3.68 lbs (1.67 kg), so even a multi-panel install is easy to handle on a ladder or inside a hot-aisle containment row.

The panel spans the full 19.00 in (483 mm) rack width and stands 15.75 in (400 mm) tall, which is nine rack units. Mounting is through eight 0.250 x 0.375 in slots — four per side — giving eight mounting points for a secure fit on standard EIA rack rails. Corners are formed with a 0.12 in (3 mm) radius. Per the drawing, mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to match your rails.

PBPA19015UNF is manufactured in Canada and is TAA-compliant and USMCA-compliant, supporting government and public-sector procurement. It is also RoHS and REACH compliant.
