Hammond PBPA19015LG2 9U Flat Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel, Light Gray

The PBPA19015LG2 is a 9U flat aluminum blanking panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails, finished in RAL7035 light gray. It is designed to close off unused rack space so that hot and cold air cannot recirculate through open openings — a common requirement for IT and facilities teams managing airflow in data centers, telecom rooms and network cabinets.

Construction is 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, giving the panel corrosion resistance and a lightweight feel that simplifies handling and installation compared with steel panels. The smooth powder coat finish provides a clean, professional appearance across a rack face. Because a 9U panel covers a large opening in one piece, it reduces the number of parts needed compared with stacking several smaller blanks.

The panel height is 15.75 in (400 mm) with an overall drawing width of 19.00 in (483 mm) and a formed profile including 1.48 in (38 mm) and 4.00 in (102 mm) sections shown on the part drawing. Mounting is via 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots (8X on the drawing), which allow some adjustment when aligning to rack rail hole patterns. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to suit your rails.
