Hammond PBPA19015GY2 9U Dark Gray Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel

PBPA19015GY2 is a 9U flat aluminum rack panel finished in ANSI61 dark gray, made to fill unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It suits data center, telecom and network technicians who need to close off open rack openings so cooled supply air is directed through equipment instead of recirculating around it.

The panel is formed from 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, giving lightweight durability and corrosion resistance in rack environments. Compared with steel panels, the aluminum construction simplifies handling and installation, and at a shipping weight of 3.83 lbs (1.74 kg) a 9U panel remains easy for one person to position. The smooth powder coat finish and 0.12 in radiused corners give a clean, professional appearance across a rack front.

This size covers nine rack units: 15.75 in (400 mm) of panel height by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, with the drawing showing an overall panel of 15.72 in (399 mm) high. Eight mounting points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots let the panel be secured to the rack rails; mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware separately.
