Hammond PA4UBK 4U Rack Rail Width Reducer, 23 to 19 In Pair

PA4UBK is a 4U rack rail width reducer panel that lets standard 19-inch rackmount equipment be installed in racks built on 23-inch or 24-inch rail centres. It is intended for IT and network integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams who need to add current-generation hardware to wider telecom or legacy frames without replacing the rack itself. The part is sold in pairs, so a single order provides both the left and right rail adaptation needed for one mounting position.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a matte black powder coat finish to RAL9005. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and rounded corners reduce sharp edges during handling and installation. Each panel carries EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped mounting holes on the 19-inch face for secure, standardized equipment attachment, plus 0.250 x 0.375 in oblong slots for fastening to the host rack rail.

This 4U version provides 7.00 in (178 mm) of mounting height. Drawing dimensions include an overall 6.97 in (177 mm) and 6.50 in (165 mm) profile, a 4.00 in (102 mm) dimension and a 3.12 in (79 mm) depth detail. Shipping weight is 0.9 lbs (0.41 kg). Four 12-24 x 5/8 in mounting screws are supplied.

PA4UBK is TAA compliant, manufactured in North America (country of origin CA) in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant. A matching matte white version, PA4UWH (RAL9003), is available in the same series, which spans 1U through 5U heights.
