Hammond PA2UWH 2U Rack Rail Width Reducer Panel, Matte White

The PA2UWH is a 2U rack rail width reducer panel in matte white (RAL9003), sold in pairs to adapt 23 in and 24 in rack rails so they will accept standard 19 in rackmount equipment. It is aimed at telecom technicians, IT and network integrators, and facilities teams who need to place 19 in hardware into wider telecom or legacy racks without modifying the rack or replacing it.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, giving durable structural support for rack width conversion. Rounded corners reduce sharp edges during handling and installation. The part is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

Each PA2UWH reducer covers 2 rack units, a mounting height of 3.50 in (89 mm). Drawing dimensions include a 3.12 in (79 mm) top-view width, a 3.47 in (88 mm) front-view dimension, 3.00 in (76 mm) hole spacing and 0.09 in (2 mm) material thickness. The equipment-mounting face carries EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped holes, while 0.250 x 0.375 oblong slots allow the reducer to be fastened to the existing rack rails.

Because the PA2UWH ships as a pair, one order provides both the left and right rail adaptation needed for a complete 2U opening. Mounting hardware is included: four 12-24 x 5/8 in screws are supplied.
