Hammond PA5UBK 5U Rack Rail Width Reducer Panel, 23 to 19 Inch

The PA5UBK is a 5U rack rail width reducer panel used to adapt 23 in and 24 in rack rails so they will accept standard 19 in rackmount equipment. It is aimed at IT and network integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams who need to place 19 in hardware into wider telecom or legacy racks without custom fabrication or replacing the rack itself.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel, which provides durable structural support for rack width conversion duty, finished in a matte black powder coat to RAL9005. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and rounded corners help reduce sharp edges during handling and installation. PA5UBK is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility and is TAA compliant.

This part covers 5 rack units, a mounting height of 8.75 in (222 mm), with an overall panel height of 8.72 in (221 mm) on the drawing and a 3.12 in (79 mm) profile dimension. Equipment mounting holes are 10-32 tapped on EIA spacing, and rack-side attachment uses 0.250 x 0.375 in oblong slots for adjustment. Four 12-24 x 5/8 in mounting screws are supplied.
