Hammond PA3UBK 3U Rack Rail Width Reducer, 23 to 19 Inch

The PA3UBK is a 3U rack rail width reducer that lets 23 in and 24 in racks accept standard 19 in rackmount equipment. It is aimed at telecom technicians, IT and network integrators, and facilities teams who need to place 19 in switches, servers or patch panels into wider telecom or legacy frames without modifying the rack. PA3UBK is supplied in pairs, so one order provides the left and right rail adaptation needed for a complete opening.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a powder coat finish in matte black (RAL9005), giving durable structural support for rack width conversion. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and rounded corners reduce sharp edges during installation. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

Equipment mounting holes are EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped, so standard 19 in rackmount hardware bolts straight up. Oblong 0.250 x 0.375 in rack-side holes allow adjustment when fastening to the existing rails, and four 12-24 x 5/8 in mounting screws are supplied with the pair. Each reducer covers 3 rack units, 5.25 in (133 mm) of mounting height, with a drawing front-view height of 5.22 in (133 mm) and a front-view width of 4.75 in (121 mm).
