Hammond NWC18U2436SFBK 18U Filtered Type 12 Wall-Mount Cabinet, 350 lb

The NWC18U2436SFBK is an 18U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet built for network and industrial equipment that has to survive dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "F" configuration of the NWC Series, shipping with rear and door Type 12 filters that maintain the UL Type 12 rating and are compatible with fan kits, so integrators, plant electricians and IT teams can add filtered airflow without giving up environmental protection. This version has a solid door and a RAL9005 Black powder coat finish.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel, UL2416 Type 12 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The sealed enclosure uses gasketed doors and has been independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets. A double-hinged design with concealed hinges gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing.

Overall dimensions are 42.27 in (1074 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 18U of 19-inch rack space: 32.00 in (813 mm) usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) maximum equipment depth, plus 26.55 in (674 mm) rail-to-rail depth. Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails are included along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws.

NWC18U2436SFBK includes dedicated bonding and grounding points, external mounting feet and a rear pan design for secure wall installation and cable entry, and there is provision for power bar mounting without using rack U space. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada, meets PCI DSS compliance requirements, and the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
