Hammond NWC12U2436WNLG 12U IP56 Window-Door Wall Cabinet, Light Gray

The NWC12U2436WNLG is a 12U sealed, wall-mounted equipment cabinet built for network and industrial gear that has to live in dusty, dirty or wet surroundings. It ships in RAL7035 light gray with a window door and no cutouts of any kind — the "N" configuration, supplied without climate control — so the enclosure stays fully sealed for IT closets, IDF points, edge computing nodes and plant-floor automation cabinets.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with gasketed doors, UL2416 Type 12 rated to a 350 lb (158 kg) load and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The cabinet has been independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (UL File # E474597).

Overall dimensions are 31.77 in (807 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 22.00 in (559 mm) of usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of maximum equipment depth using the swing-out function. Rail-to-rail depth measures 26.55 in (674 mm) and the 19 in mounting width is 18.35 in (466 mm).

Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 mounting rails allow flexible front and rear equipment positioning, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included. The double-hinged design gives access to equipment from both sides, dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical installation, and external mounting feet with a rear pan design aid wall installation and cable entry. Power bar mounting is provided without consuming U space. NWC12U2436WNLG also meets PCI DSS compliance requirements.
