Hammond MB126565 120x65x65mm Deep Two-Tone Polystyrene Box

The MB126565 is the deep member of the 120 x 65 mm MB Series family, standing 65 mm tall. It gives room for stacked boards or taller components while keeping the same footprint, and like the rest of the series it is intended for printed circuit boards in hand-held, desktop or wall mount applications.

Molded in polystyrene, the enclosure has a smooth light gray lid (RAL 7035) and a smooth dark gray bottom (RAL 7012), with front and rear panels molded into the bottom unit. Four cover screws, M3-0.5 x 14mm per the drawing, thread into integrated brass inserts and are hidden in a recess in the base, so the lid can be opened and closed repeatedly.

Outside dimensions are 4.72 x 2.56 x 2.56 in (120 x 65 x 65 mm). The internal space is 114 mm long, 59 mm wide and 58 mm deep. The solid lid version is rated IP40, and the material is rated UL94 HB.

The MB126565 ships boxed with the enclosure, lid, four cover screws and four P.C. board screws; the recommended cover screw torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). Shipping weight is 0.29 lbs (0.13 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and solid models are available in STEP or IGES.
