Hammond HYG125 Replacement Silicone Gasket for 12 x 5 in HYPB Box

The HYG125 is the hygienic N4X replacement gasket for the tall, narrow vertical four-hole enclosures in the HYPB Series of hygienic Type 4X stainless steel pushbutton enclosures. The series ordering table lists it for both the HYMPB4VSS (22mm holes) and the HYPB4VSS (30mm holes), each 11.94 in (303 mm) high by 4.88 in (124 mm) wide by 4.00 in (102 mm) deep.

Across the HYPB Series the silicone gasket mounts around the entire door edge, allowing efficient cleaning in hygienic environments. It can be easily removed and re-installed for cleaning or replacement, and additional silicone gaskets can be ordered separately. The series overview describes a removable blue silicone gasket that makes contaminants easier to spot.

The HYG125 is listed at 12 in x 5 in x 1 in (305 mm x 127 mm x 25 mm) and ships in a bag at 1.5 lb (0.68 kg). Its drawing shows a front-view outline of 11.18 in by 4.18 in, with 10.32 in, 3.32 in and 0.50 in called out on the side and bottom views. It carries UL File # E517628/E65324 and is REACH and RoHS compliant.

The enclosures it fits are formed 304 stainless steel with 3° sloped sides, continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth #4 dairy finish, rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X and IP69/IP69K. Because the vertical four-hole size shares its gasket with no other enclosure in the table, ordering by part number HYG125 avoids mixing it up with the HYG107 used on the wider four-hole HYPB4SS.
