Hammond HYG107 Replacement Silicone Door Gasket for HYJ1074SS

The HYG107 is the replacement hygienic N4X gasket for the HYJ1074SS enclosure in the HYJ Series of Hygienic Type 4X Stainless Steel Junction Boxes. It is intended for maintenance teams, OEM builders and electricians who keep washdown junction boxes in service in hose-down areas, and who need a fresh seal without replacing the whole box.

On the HYJ Series the silicone gasket mounts around the entire door edge, which is what makes the enclosure easy to clean. The gasket can be removed and re-installed for cleaning or replacement, and the manufacturer notes that additional silicone gaskets are ordered separately – this is that separately ordered part. The hygienic line uses a blue silicone gasket, which makes contaminants easier to spot during inspection.
