Hammond HWMR1912UBK 12U Center-Swing Wall Rack, Adjustable Depth

The HWMR1912UBK is a 12U open wall rack with a center-hinged swing frame, built for mounting 19" rack equipment on telecom backboards and in network closets. It is aimed at structured cabling installers, IT and AV integrators and facilities teams who need frequent access to switches and patch panels without committing to a fully enclosed cabinet. The center hinge lets the equipment section open from the middle so the load is not shifted off the wall during servicing.

Construction is mild steel with a black powder coat finish in RAL9005 Black, described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Rated load capacity is 220 lb for the series. One pair of tapped 10-32 mounting rails is provided, along with multiple cable entry knockouts and mounting points for organized cable routing.

Overall size is 26.50 in (673 mm) high by 20.00 in (508 mm) wide, with fully adjustable depth from 18.00 in (457 mm) to 24.00 in (610 mm). Usable center-swing mounting space is 21.00 in (533 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with 15.10 in to 21.10 in (384-536 mm) of usable equipment depth - the maximum equipment depth that still allows the center section to swing unimpeded. The top and bottom U positions allow 12.4" - 18.4" usable depth.

HWMR1912UBK ships knock-down with assembly hardware, assembly instructions and 50 pieces of 10-32 x 0.75 in rack mounting screws (SCREW1032-50); wall mounting hardware is not included. The drawing shows four wall mounting hole locations on a 20.00 in x 16.00 in pattern and 45-degree position lock points. This product is not designed nor intended to be used for non-wall mounted applications.
