Hammond HWMR1920UBK 24 in Depth 20U Center-Hinged Wall Rack, 18

The HWMR1920UBK is a 20U open-frame, center-hinged wall-mount rack for 19-inch equipment, built for telecom and IT environments where switches, patch panels and other rack-mounted gear must be installed on a wall rather than in a full cabinet. The center hinge lets the equipment frame swing open from the middle, so the load stays over the wall supports and access for servicing and cable management is stable.

Construction is mild steel with a RAL9005 black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. One pair of tapped 10-32 mounting rails provides 20U of usable mounting height, and multiple cable entry knockouts and mounting points support organized cable routing in wall-mounted installations.

Overall dimensions are 40.50 in (1,029 mm) high by 20.00 in (508 mm) wide, with a fully adjustable depth from 18.00 in (457 mm) to 24.00 in (610 mm). Usable center-swing mounting space is 35.00 in (889 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, with a usable depth range of 15.10 in (384 mm) to 21.10 in (536 mm) — the maximum equipment depth that still allows the center section to swing unimpeded. Steel construction supports a 220 lb load capacity, and the rack ships at 52 lbs (23.59 kg).

The HWMR1920UBK ships knock-down with assembly hardware, assembly instructions and a starter pack of 50 10-32 x 0.75 in rack mounting screws (SCREW1032-50); wall mounting hardware is not included. Wall mounting holes are provided in a four-place pattern with 45° position lock points on the swing frame. The matching vertical cable manager is WRCM20U4BK. This product is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America; it is not designed nor intended to be used for non-wall mounted applications.
