HWFWD3048UWH is an optional front window door for the 48U, 30 in wide HWF Series wall and floor mount rack cabinet (HWF3048U36BK / HWF3048U36WH). Finished in white textured powder coat, it is intended for IT and telecom installations where technicians need to see equipment status LEDs and displays without opening the cabinet, while still securing the front of the rack.
The door is built from mild steel with a 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic glazing panel, so installed hardware remains visible but shaded. A swing handle key lock (FH333) with a .560 offset cam secures the door, and three surface door hinges with hinge cover plates carry the leaf. Rubber stick-on bumper feet and #10-24 x 3/8 thread cutting screws are supplied. Per the drawing notes, hinge components and latch hardware ship loose for field assembly, which allows the hinge side to be set during installation.
Nominal size for HWFWD3048UWH is 30 in x 90.8 in x 1 in (762 mm x 2,306 mm x 25 mm); the drawing shows an overall height of 90.82 in (2307 mm) with an 84.00 in (2134 mm) dimension and a top view depth of 29.69 in (754 mm). Adding a locking door is what allows an HWF cabinet installation to meet PCI DSS requirements, per the series documentation.
- cULus listed under UL File # E475597 and TAA-compliant
- RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant; made in Canada
- White option; a black version (HWFWD3048UBK) covers the same 48U cabinet height
Solid and vented doors are also offered for the same 48U height if visibility is not required.
Ideal For
- Securing the front of 48U HWF wall and floor mount rack cabinets
- High-density network and telecom installations needing visible equipment status
- Data rooms and IDF closets requiring locking, enclosed racks
- Installations requiring PCI DSS-compliant cabinet security with a door
- Full cabinet enclosure with visibility instead of solid or vented doors
