Hammond HWFWD3042UWH 42U Smoked Acrylic Window Door, 30in Wide

HWFWD3042UWH is the optional white window door for 42U, 30 in wide HWF Series wall and floor mount rack cabinets. It is intended for IT and telecom installations where equipment needs to stay locked away but still visible, such as IDF closets, data rooms and edge computing spaces that use the HWF hybrid wall and floor mount cabinet.

The door panel is mild steel finished in white textured powder coat, glazed with a 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic window so status LEDs and equipment faces can be checked without opening the cabinet. Security is handled by a swing handle key lock (FH333) with a .560 offset cam. Three left-hand surface door hinges with matching hinge cover plates and three stick-on rubber bumper feet are supplied, along with six #10-24 x 3/8 in thread-cutting screws. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose for field assembly, so the door can be hung to suit the installation.

Nominal size for HWFWD3042UWH is 73 in x 30 in x 1 in (1,854 mm x 762 mm x 25 mm); the drawing shows a door height of 73.50 in (1,867 mm) and a panel width of 29.69 in (754 mm). The door pairs with the 42U HWF cabinets in 30 in width, and equivalent solid (HWFSD3042UWH) and vented (HWFVD3042UWH) doors are available if airflow or a closed panel is preferred.

Per the HWF Series data, cabinets meet PCI DSS requirements with a door installed, and the series carries cULus and TAA-compliant standards under UL file E475597. The door is made in Canada and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
