Hammond HWFWD3036UBK 36U Locking Window Door for 30-Inch Cabinet

HWFWD3036UBK is the optional black window door for 36U, 30"-wide HWF Series wall and floor mount rack cabinets. It is intended for IT, telecom and infrastructure installations where equipment must be enclosed and locked, but technicians and facility staff still want to see status LEDs and front panels without opening the cabinet.

The door is built from mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish and carries a 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic viewing panel. It ships with a swing handle key lock (FH333) and a .560 offset cam for security, three surface door hinges (LH) with hinge cover plates, three stick-on rubber bumper feet, and six #10-24 x 3/8 in black thread-cutting screws. Hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose for field assembly, allowing the installer to set the hinge side during mounting.

Overall size is 63 in x 30 in x 1 in (1,600 mm x 762 mm x 25 mm) with a shipping weight of 46 lbs (20.87 kg). It matches the 36U cabinet height in the HWF ordering table, alongside the solid (HWFSD3036UBK) and vented (HWFVD3036UBK) alternatives, and a white version (HWFWD3036UWH) is also offered.

Within the HWF Series, optional locking doors provide security and airflow or visibility options depending on the application, and the series notes that PCI DSS requirements are met with a door installed.
