Hammond HWCWD3018UBK 18U 30-Inch Wide Tinted Window Locking Door

The HWCWD3018UBK is an 18U locking front door with a tinted (smoked) acrylic window, made exclusively for use with Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets that are 30 in wide. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to secure network, patching or control hardware while keeping status LEDs and equipment faces visible without opening the enclosure.

Construction is 16-gauge steel finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The window panel is 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic. The door measures 35 in x 30 in x 1.34 in (889 mm x 762 mm x 34 mm) nominal, with drawing overall dimensions of 34.50 in (876 mm) high by 31.50 in (800 mm) wide, and ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg).

HWCWD3018UBK ships complete with door mounting hardware: right-hand and left-hand surface door hinges, two hinge cover plates, four #10-24 x 3/8 in black thread-cutting screws, two stick-on rubber bumper feet, a draw latch and a latch striker. Hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose, and the hinges can be mounted on the left or right so the door can be set to swing whichever way the installation requires. A snap-latch lock and two keys are included for basic access control.
