Hammond HWCSD3018UBK 18U Solid Locking Door for 30in Wall Cabinets

The HWCSD3018UBK is an 18U solid front door sized for 30 in wide Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities teams who need to close off and lock a wall-mounted equipment cabinet, hiding cabling and hardware from view in corridors, classrooms, retail spaces and shared work areas.

The door is built from 16-gauge steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. As a solid style door, it provides a closed panel with no window or vent cut-outs; the same HWCD Series is also offered in tinted acrylic window, 64% airflow vented and positive pressure filter fan door styles for other ventilation needs.

Overall size is 35 in x 30 in x 1.34 in (889 mm x 762 mm x 34 mm), with the drawing showing a panel height of 34.50 in (876 mm) and width of 29.69 in (754 mm). Shipping weight is 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Both right-hand and left-hand surface door hinges are supplied with hinge cover plates, thread-cutting screws, stick-on rubber bumper feet, a draw latch and latch striker, so HWCSD3018UBK can be hung to swing from the left or the right to suit the installation. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose.

A snap-latch lock with two keys and the door mounting hardware are included. The part is made of mild steel, manufactured in North America, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases.
