Hammond HWCSD2427UBK 27U Solid Locking Door for 24in Wall Cabinets

The HWCSD2427UBK is a 27U solid front door built exclusively for use with Hammond HWC Series wall-mount cabinets that are 24 in wide. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities teams who need to close off a wall rack for physical security and a clean, finished appearance in offices, classrooms, retail spaces and back-of-house equipment areas.

The door is formed from 16-gauge steel in mild steel material and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall size is 50.25 in x 24 in x 1.34 in (1,276 mm x 610 mm x 34 mm), and shipping weight is 14 lbs (6.35 kg). Because the panel is solid, it provides no ventilation openings; vented, tinted-window and positive-pressure filter-fan door styles are offered separately within the HWCD Series for 24 in wide cabinets.

Everything needed to hang the door is supplied. The HWCSD2427UBK kit includes a right-hand and left-hand surface door hinge, two hinge cover plates, two stick-on rubber bumper feet, four #10-24 x 3/8 thread cutting screws in black, a draw latch and a latch striker. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose, and the hinges can be mounted on the left or right so the door swing can be set to suit the installation. A snap-latch lock and two keys are included for keyed access control.
